Arte Povera

Arte Povera: Homage to Amalfi ’68 was an exhibition at the Philadelphia Museum of Art in the spring of 2019. The show celebrated the 50th anniversary of a significant artistic event that took place over three days at the Arsenale dell'Antica Repubblica in Amalfi, Italy, in 1968. This exhibition had a lasting impact on the course of contemporary art in Italy. The installation at the Philadelphia Museum of Art paid tribute to this groundbreaking event and featured several works that were originally showcased in Amalfi 50 years earlier.
